Happy Birthday. Quick question. Why did you friend cut the cake the way she did. Does that make it easier to get the pieces out? Just wondering.

About the cake cutting -- apparently, this is the way wedding cakes are cut so that everyone gets an equal piece. (Me, I was tickled to eat the circular core.)
