So about pushing myself into a non-comfort zone ... I just entered a fruit pie baking contest. I have vague idea of what I'd like to do, but that's about it. Suggestions and/or support are welcome, as are perscriptions of anti-anxiety medication.

Laura Rebecca said...: I've tried an apple pie with a twist (post coming soon...) and plan to try a recipe Mooncrazy from Peanut Butter Etoufee sent me (Rustic Apple Tart with a caramel sauce -- yum!) plus an Autumn Harvest pie from Martha Stewart. Like Anon. said, it's got a bit of a twist: apples, pears, and raisins (well, the recipe calls for fresh cranberries, but they're not available here yet).; 9:35 AM, October 02, 2006
